About the Role About the Team/Service/ Location We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team in Theatre Services. The successful applicants will be required to work rostered/rotating shifts with an on-call component About you This role requires high level communication abilities to effectively liaise at all levels. Demonstrating a confident, positive, resilient and supportive, manner, the successful candidate will enjoy working in a very precise, structured, challenging and planned environment and will ideally possess the following skills and abilities: Relevant and current New Zealand health qualifications including an Annual Practicing Certificate, with the desire and commitment to continue a professional development programme. Previous inside and outside theatre experience ideally, or a minimum of two years post-graduate knowledge in either General or Orthopaedic wards Experience working independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for your actions, making critical decisions in challenging and complex situations Sound organisational abilities to prioritise, delegate and meet required timelines Basic computer literacy For the right person, this position offers a challenging and satisfying opportunity to work across all theatre services, endoscopy, Day unit – infusion As a Registered Nurse Primarily this role provides patient centred care, ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients and Whanau and a multidisciplinary specialist, team to ensure successful outcomes.
