About the Role As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will work with medical imaging equipment taking x-rays for patients whilst providing quality patient care. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly, patient-centred environment. There are opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement. This is a full-time role working 72 hours per fortnight (0.9 FTE). Shifts will be scheduled between 8:00AM - 11:00PM Monday to Sunday, with rotating and rostered on-call between 10:30PM and 8:00AM. About the Team/Service/Location Our team of 20 Medical Imaging Technologists provide a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, Ultrasound, CT and Mammography. For more information on living and working in Blenheim click here About You As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will have or be: NZ registered with the NZMRT Board, and hold a current APC as a Medical Imaging Technologist a positive and friendly team player with great sense of humor, a sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography, great communication skills and empathy, the passion to deliver high-quality healthcare, flexibility to work within a Monday-Sunday rotating roster. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
