As the Gardening Team Leader at Groundswell Landscapes, you'll lead a team of 2-5 individuals in the upkeep of some of Queenstown's most esteemed gardens. With your guidance, ensure excellence in every aspect of our gardening projects, from client communication to project management and team leadership. Your role is integral to upholding our standards of quality and achieving customer satisfaction at every turn. What We Require Minimum of 3 years of professional gardening experience Proven ability to manage both people and projects Strong knowledge of horticulture practices (formal qualifications are highly regarded, but not essential) Excellent work ethic and physical fitness Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset Previous experience in client-facing roles Experience with agricultural chemicals is preferred What You'll Receive Competitive salary package based on skills and experience Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth Autonomy to shape and develop your role Company vehicle, iPhone, and iPad provided Job Description Lead a team of 2-6 people. Gardening tasks, including weeding, trimming, fertilising, mowing, dethatching, coring, and seasonal maintenance. Schedule work for your team and keep clients updated. Assess trees and plants for health and provide treatments where needed. Handle irrigation checks, repairs, and installations where needed.
