As part of the ANZCO Foods Group, The Local Butcher supplies the finest quality beef, lamb and small goods supplied to home cooks, chefs, cafes and restaurants throughout the Marlborough region. We have an opportunity for a Shop Assistant to join our Blenheim store. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, starting at 9am, with some Saturday work. Duties and responsibilities will include: Providing polite customer service to customers Retail duties in front shop Ensuring that the shop is well stocked. Packing of meat orders as required Skills and experience we are looking for: Able to lift heavy cartons (up to 27.2kg). Holds a current full driver's licence Ability to work independently or with a team Reliability A good listener and quick learner We deliver taste, nutrition, and wellbeing to the world with products made from New Zealand finest beef and lamb.
