St Bede's College – Christchurch, South Island St Bede’s College is the South Island’s premiere Catholic boys’ boarding school. Our 140 boarders come from across New Zealand and abroad and benefit from our home away from home experience. We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Boarding Supervisor to join our boarding team. This fixed term, part-time role involves working Saturday evenings from 5pm-11.30pm term time only, and will end 28 November 2026. About the Role As a Boarding Supervisor, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our Boarding House, fostering a safe, supportive, and values-based environment for our students while upholding the Catholic character of the College. The Boarding Supervisor position offers an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the daily life and wellbeing of our boarders. If you are passionate about working with young people, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support students' physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Maintain accurate records and report concerns promptly. Promote positive behaviour and pastoral care initiatives. Monitor student attendance and ensure adherence to boarding policies. Act as a role model, fostering a positive community atmosphere. Maintain a safe, clean boarding environment and uphold health and safety standards. Support student study and academic progress.
