Housekeeping Room Attendant - The Observatory Hotel Christchurch Housekeeper Room Attendant - Part time contract is available. The Observatory Hotel Christchurch is looking presently for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team on part time basis. With a little experience of any cleaning, if you have passion to work for Hospitality and want to progress your career, we would like to hear from you. Main responsibilities include: Room cleaning, making bed, Getting rooms ready for new guests to use. Helping in stocking the rooms with required supplies. May include heavy lifting. Ensure all rooms are cared for according to standards. Room cleaning requires sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances. Check stocking levels of trolleys for all consumables and replace when appropriate. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. Adhere to time management, breaks, time required to be taken for cleaning any particular facility, room, area etc. - Appear to the roster and maintain serenity of information given during interview regarding physical health, mental health, availability for work etc. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: Previous experience in the hospitality cleaning / housekeeping field is preferred Completed high school certificate or equivalent Positive attitude and good communication skills Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service Excellent grooming standards Ability to work on your own, and as part of a team Benefits include: Competitive pay Discounted accommodation and F&B rates at “Sarin Hotels” properties across New Zealand Work uniforms provided Career growth and development opportunities within the group.
