Multiple Shutdowns & Projects | Competitive Rates | Ongoing Opportunities We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team for a busy shutdown and project season across Auckland and the Central North Island . With multiple industrial shutdowns and projects coming up, we are looking for reliable fitters who are keen to secure good hours and move between projects throughout the season. Multiple Shutdowns & Projects | Competitive Rates | Ongoing Opportunities We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team for a busy shutdown and project season across Auckland and the Central North Island . With multiple industrial shutdowns and projects coming up, we are looking for reliable fitters who are keen to secure good hours and move between projects throughout the season. The Work Depending on the shutdown or project, your work may include: Industrial mechanical fitting and maintenance Plant shutdown and preventative maintenance Removal, repair and installation of mechanical equipment Pumps, motors, bearings, conveyors and gearboxes Pipework, valves and associated equipment Equipment strip-downs and rebuilds Working alongside welding, fabrication and maintenance crews General shutdown and project mechanical work What We’re Looking For Ideally, you will have: Mechanical Fitter / Fitter Turner trade qualification or strong equivalent experience Previous shutdown, heavy industrial or plant maintenance experience Strong mechanical fault-finding and fitting skills Confined Space and Gas Testing – advantageous Working at Heights – advantageous Current Site Safe – advantageous Ability to pass pre-employment requirements Reliable transport and a strong work ethic What’s On Offer Competitive shutdown rates Multiple shutdowns and projects across Auckland and the Central North Island Opportunities for ongoing work throughout the shutdown/project season Good hours with overtime available on selected projects Opportunity to work with established engineering and industrial contractors Potential to move from one shutdown/project directly onto the next Whether you are looking to fill gaps between projects or want to line up multiple shutdowns for the season , we want to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
