Job Description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. About CRVAt CRV, we’re proud to be at the forefront of innovation in the dairy industry. As a global leader in herd improvement with operations across Europe, North and South America, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, our mission is simple: to help dairy farmers build healthy, efficient herds through cutting-edge genetics and expert support. We partner with farmers to provide world-class genetic tools and insights that help them meet their unique goals. As we grow our presence across New Zealand, we’re investing in people who share our passion for the industry and want to help shape the future of dairy farming. With a strong focus on innovation and adaptability, we’re committed to delivering solutions that respond to evolving industry needs — here in New Zealand and around the world. About the Role CRV is looking for a self-motivated sales professional with a genuine passion for the dairy industry, a hunger to succeed, and the drive to help farmers achieve their goals through tailored genetic solutions. A permanent opportunity with a twist: you'll start by covering parental leave in the Northern Southland region, then move into your own region once the current team member returns. It's a great chance to learn the ropes before carving out your own patch. When the new role begins you will be working alongside a senior consultant to service an established area. This is your opportunity to build on a strong customer base, convert new business, and make a real difference on-farm with every farmer you work with. As part of a team backed by a global network of experts, you’ll enjoy both autonomy and the support of your regional and national team. Key Responsibilities Drive growth of CRV’s market share across your region by promoting, selling and demonstrating the strength of our range of genetic products and services. Identify and convert new business opportunities, build a strong sales pipeline, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Collaborate with existing dairy farmer clients to develop and implement customised breeding plans that deliver on their herd improvement goals. Build long-term customer partnerships through ongoing post-sales support, ensuring farmers get the results they signed up for and receive an exceptional customer experience from CRV. Location: The sales territory for this role is the Central Southland region, so ideally the successful candidate would be located in a central position to service this area. What We Offer Stability – Join a global organisation with long-term career potential. Competitive package – Salary plus performance-based incentives. Perks – Company vehicle (for personal use), fully subsidised health insurance and income protection cover. Work-life balance – 37.5-hour work week with flexible hours. Development – Access to industry training and professional growth opportunities. Support – A fun and supportive team environment both within your regional team and across the wider business. Ongoing training and upskilling that helps everyone succeed. About You You’ll bring genuine passion for the NZ dairy industry, a real interest in helping farmers achieve their goals, and the commercial drive to gain business in a competitive market. A solid understanding of the NZ dairy sector, including seasonal cycles and on-farm decision-making, is important. Hands-on dairy farming, animal breeding or genetics experience is a plus, but a curious mindset, willingness to learn, and hunger to succeed matter more. You’ll also demonstrate: A competitive, target-driven mindset and a track record of meeting or beating sales goals and goals in general. A genuine passion for the dairy industry and a commitment to helping farmers achieve their goals. Confidence to prospect, pitch and close, and the resilience to keep at it. Strong self-management, proactiveness, and the ability to be part of a strong supportive local team. Proficiency in digital tools and attention to administrative detail. A successful track record in rural sales is highly desirable. If you’re a driven sales professional with a passion for dairy farming and genetics, with the hunger to grow market share and exceed targets, we’d love to hear from you. All applicants for this position must be eligible to work in NZ. #J-18808-Ljbffr
