Join our Auckland team as a Sales & Underwriting Consultant and build your insurance career from the ground up. This is more than a first job. You’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting customers and brokers while developing your understanding of insurance, risk and underwriting. Through structured training and on‑the‑job learning, you’ll build the skills, confidence and judgement needed to take your career further. What You’ll Do Help customers with quotes, policy changes, renewals and general enquiries Provide timely, professional and empathetic customer service Understand customer and broker needs and identify appropriate solutions Build strong relationships with customers and brokers Manage customer complaints in line with the Suncorp NZ framework Develop your understanding of insurance products, risk and underwriting Assess information and apply your judgement when making decisions Balance customer needs with commercial and risk considerations Build the skills and confidence to progress your career in insurance You’ll be supported as you learn, while being encouraged to think critically, make decisions and take ownership as your capability grows.
