Managed Labour Hire – Christchurch, South Island Class 5 Truck Drivers — Civil Experience Essential Managed Labour Hire is looking for Class 5 Truck Drivers to join our civil team across Canterbury. We've got steady work with quality clients and need drivers who know civil cartage — not just line haul. — You must already be living in New Zealand and have the right to work here. These are immediate-start roles in Canterbury — we are not offering visa sponsorship. Applications from candidates not currently in NZ with existing work rights will not be considered. Let's be straight about what we're after: a Class 5 driver who's only run line haul, and hasn't tipped a load or worked in and around earthworks, isn't the right fit for these roles. If you've carted bulk materials on civil sites and you're confident tipping, we want to hear from you. What you'll be doing Carting bulk materials — aggregate, metal, spoil — to and from civil sites Operating tipper and truck-and-trailer units Tipping loads safely and accurately on site Working on and around active earthworks and civil sites Working in with loader and excavator operators loading you out Our current roles are focused on bulk cartage . There's real opportunity to grow into machinery transport and more technical work as you prove yourself with us.
