Responsibilities Build, operate, and improve Kubernetes platforms across AWS and Azure Automate platform operations, provisioning, patching, and compliance activities Drive engineering excellence and operational efficiency across the platform Solve complex platform, reliability, and performance challenges Guide others through problem solving and technical decision making Partner with engineering teams to improve platform adoption and self-service capabilities Create platform standards, documentation, and engineering guidance Improve security, reliability, automation, and developer experience Identify and manage technical risk Mentor engineers through coaching, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing Lead complex technical initiatives and influence platform strategy and direction Requirements Kubernetes administration and operations Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) Container technologies (Docker, OCI containers) Infrastructure as Code CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation GitOps concepts and tooling (Helm, Kustomize) Scripting and automation (Bash, Go, or similar) Observability and monitoring platforms Networking, security, and platform troubleshooting skills Linux and VMware virtualization concepts Experience leading complex technical initiatives and influencing engineering outcomes Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills Experience mentoring and developing engineers Can-do attitude and willingness to learn Passion for automation, platform engineering, cloud technologies, and empowering developers Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Kubernetes administration and operations across AWS and Azure, with a strong focus on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
