Waimea West Joinery Ltd – Richmond, South Island Waimea West Joinery is a Nelson based joinery company producing high-end residential cabinetry and solid timber joinery. We work on complete residential joinery packages, including bespoke kitchens, cabinetry, timber windows and doors, and a wide range of custom joinery items. Joinery Detailer Full-Time | Permanent We are looking for a Joinery Detailer to join our dedicated team. This role involves taking architectural and design concepts through to accurate, manufacturing-ready drawings. The Role Produce detailed manufacturing drawings and 3D models for bespoke joinery Develop cabinetry from concept through to manufacture Interpret architectural drawings, specifications and design concepts Develop construction details and resolve design issues before production Prepare drawings and information for the CNC and workshop manufacture team Communicate with architects, designers, builders, suppliers and clients to develop and resolve project details Work closely with the CNC operator, workshop team and management What we're looking for Experience in joinery detailing Strong understanding of cabinetry and joinery construction Experience with bespoke or one-off joinery Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications High attention to detail and strong practical problem-solving skills Good communication skills and ability to work independently Reliable and professional work ethic We are looking for someone who understands how a drawing translates into a finished piece of joinery and takes pride in producing work to a high standard.
