About the Role As RN Team Leader, you’ll take a hands‑on leadership approach, guiding and supporting clinical and care staff to deliver safe, high‑quality care. You’ll play a key role in maintaining clinical standards, mentoring staff, and ensuring residents receive the best possible support. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to clinical and care staff Support the CSM with clinical oversight, staffing, and day‑to‑day operations Act as a mentor and preceptor, supporting staff development and education Ensure high standards of clinical care, documentation, and InterRAI compliance Coordinate care delivery in line with policies, procedures, and legislation Build strong relationships with residents, families, and health professionals Support rostering, staffing levels, and on‑call requirements as needed Skills and Experience You’re an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys leading from the front and supporting others to grow. You’re confident, organised, and committed to delivering quality aged care. To succeed in this role, you will have Current NZ Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with the Nursing Council Proven experience in aged care or a similar clinical environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and support a team Experience or willingness to act as a preceptor and educator Sound knowledge of clinical governance, InterRAI, and care planning Excellent communication and organisational skills Understanding of Health & Disability Sector Standards and NZ legislation Benefits At Alden, you’ll enjoy a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in the lives of elderly residents in your community.
