We have an open position in our Harvest data team as a Data Coordinator. The Role We are looking for an experienced and capable Data Coordinator to join our Napier team and become an integral part of our Harvest operation. You will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the operational data that supports our harvest activities, including wood-flow information, docket data, reporting and commercial administration. This is more than a data-entry role. You will work across multiple systems and data sources, investigate discrepancies, support our operational teams and contribute to improving the way we manage and report information across the business. Your responsibilities will include: Processing and importing docket and operational data from multiple sources. Querying data and preparing, collating and distributing harvest and management reports. Maintaining databases, including regular updates, reconciliations and data integrity checks. Identifying and investigating discrepancies and working with others to resolve data issues. Purchase order and buyer-created invoice administration. Supporting Harvest Managers and other teams with operational and commercial information. Supporting and completing month-end processes, including reconciliations, harvest reporting, invoice preparation and resolving outstanding data issues within required deadlines. Preparing and distributing written reports and supporting documentation. Identifying opportunities to improve data processes, systems and workflows. About You – what we are after We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in getting things right. Ideally, you will bring: Strong data coordination, analytical and reporting skills. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data analysis. Experience with accounting and finance processes. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately process high volumes of information. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. A practical problem-solving approach with the ability to investigate issues and identify solutions. The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with people across different areas of the business. A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work. Good written and verbal communication skills. An interest in improving processes and finding better ways of working. Experience with PSLog and/or the forestry sector would be advantageous but is not essential. We would also be interested in people who have worked in other data-intensive environments such as logistics, finance, supply chain, manufacturing or administration.
