Keyway Construction Ltd – Wellington Central, North Island An Intermediate Quantity Surveyor position within Keyway Construction Limited, a construction company delivering Commercial Interiors and Seismic strengthening projects. The role is based at the Wellington, NZ Head Office with regular site visits, reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager. Key responsibilities Prepare accurate budgets, cost plans, and detailed feasibility estimates Source, negotiate, and finalize high-value subcontractor packages Measure work on-site, manage variation claims, and issue progress payments Draft monthly cost-value reconciliations (CVR) and cash flow forecasts Negotiate and settle final accounts cleanly with clients and subcontractors About you 3–5 years of quantity surveying experience within a main contractor environment Degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management Proficiency in measurement software (e.g., Procore, CostX, Cubit, or PlanSwift), Microsoft Word and MS Excel Practical understanding of standard construction contracts and construction law Clean, valid driver's license required for mandatory site visits About us Keyway Construction primarily delivers a continuous pipeline of Commercial Interiors and Seismic strengthening projects for its parent company, Prime Property Group.
