To achieve this, Te Tari Pūreke delivers four core functions: effectively implementing the firearms licensing systems; managing the Firearms Registry; educating people to enable compliance with their legislative responsibilities; and promoting the safe possession andlawfuluse of firearms. About the role: In this role, you will lead end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio within Te Tari Pūreke, working closely with leaders to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes. While the roles you recruit will vary in level and complexity, you will operate as a trusted advisor, bringing a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and supporting leaders to identify, attract, and secure the right talent. You’ll enjoy the variety that comes from working across different workgroups, developing strong relationships, and gaining a deep understanding of their workforce needs. With strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and a customer-focused approach, you will manage the recruitment process from advertising through to offer. You’ll be supported as you learn our unique recruitment frameworks and processes, while being empowered to work with a high degree of autonomy. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with leaders and stakeholders across Auckland and Wellington, providing expert recruitment advice and helping to deliver effective workforce outcomes across Te Tari Pūreke. A great eye for detail, a compliance mindset, supported by sound computing/ database skills. The proven ability to build rapport with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and cultures Resilience and the ability to flex with regular change will be beneficial.
