Global Fire Ltd is a well-established passive fire protection company based in Penrose, Auckland. Operating since 2014, we specialize in passive fire and work closely with our sister companies, Global Linings Ltd and Global Active Fire Ltd, experts in interiors and active fire protection. The Opportunity We are seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a full-time role suited to someone who thrives in a team environment, takes pride in their work, and is eager to contribute to both our company’s and clients’ success. Your Responsibilities Estimating and take-offs for passive fire works Tender analysis and coordination of monthly tenders Pre-start and on-site meetings with clients and subcontractors Setting up new jobs and project budgets Managing and tracking variations with supporting documentation Preparing claims, payment schedules, and final accounts Overseeing dispute resolutions and project reconciliations Monitoring targets and producing performance reports Debt follow-up and financial oversight of assigned projects Assisting in business development and developing junior-level QS staff Maintaining strong relationships through meetings and regular communication Conducting site measures as required About You A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Able to work independently and manage your time effectively Quality-conscious and proactive Committed to adding value to clients and the business Requirements Minimum 3 years’ work experience in Quantity Surveying or a relevant diploma-level qualification Level of knowledge dealing with standard NZ construction contracts such as NZS 3910:2013 Be familiar with NZS 4202 measuring standards, schedule of quantities Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent preferred Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and reporting skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
