We are seeking a talented DBA with strong analytical and personable skills to lead a critical uplift project. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation's core infrastructure, bringing antiquated SQL servers back into compliance and ensuring robust security. You will be responsible for independently navigating a challenging environment, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and driving the successful upgrade of database systems. This initial 3-month engagement has strong potential to extend and evolve, offering a pathway to shape future strategies around server consolidation, database architecture, and more. About you: We are looking for a proactive, independent individual with solid SQL and strong business analysis skills, who thrives in complex environments and possesses excellent interpersonal abilities. Skills and Experience: Solid SQL skills for complex system navigation and upgrades. Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system issues. Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects. Excellent communication and personable skills for stakeholder engagement. Experience with antiquated operating systems and in-place production upgrades. Desirable: Business Analyst (BA) skills to gather requirements and bridge technical/business needs.
