Being a residential hospital level of care facility, we support and care for people living with physical and/or neurological disabilities. Currently available are night and day shifts. Night Shift Vacancy As a night shift Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring our residents receive safe, compassionate and professional care throughout the night.You will be an experienced Registered Nurse fully versed in night shift responsibilities; managing and overseeinga dedicated team of professionals. You will be responsible for all Health and Safety requirements during your shift including the management and oversight of emergency preparedness. Day Shift Vacancy In addition to the night shift vacancy we do have part-time day shifts available for a Registered Nurse capable of supporting people with complex physical and neurological disabilities. In this role as a RN you will be cordinating with doctors, allied health professionals, caregivers and whanau. Job Description Desired Skills and Experience An experienced Registered Nurse with current NZ registration and appropriate NZ Visa requirements Having experience in disability, rehabilitation, aged care or a related healthcare setting will be an advantage Be confident working independently during night shifts Have strong clinical assessment and communication skills Maintain clinical documentation and care plans Managing emergencies and escalating concern appropriately. Have experience managing a team of clinical staff .
