Accounts & Admin, Part time 20-25 Hours per week (Chartered Accountant) This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded Chartered Accountant, working 20 to 25 hours per week, who enjoys hands-on execution. Working closely with the Founder and leadership team, you'll take ownership of the Accounts processing, reporting and some operational administration that underpins the business. From preparing monthly management accounts, assisting in budgets, to processing payroll, inventory costings, and improving business systems, no two days are the same. Key responsibilities Accounting Preparation of monthly management accounts Budgeting support Balance sheet reconciliations Accounts payable and receivable Bank reconciliations Payroll (New Zealand & USA) GST, PAYE preparation Business Operations Inventory and landed costings Wholesale invoicing Office administration Oversee and continually improve integrated business systems including Xero, CIN7, Shopify, NuOrder, Banking platforms, Inventory systems, GS1 barcode management, Retailer integrations Continually identify smarter ways of working, improve processes, maintain system integrity and help build scalable systems that support YY Nation's continued international growth About you Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) – Essential Commercial accounting experience, preferrable 5+ years Experience preparing monthly and annual financial statements Strong understanding of New Zealand taxation, GST and payroll Advanced Excel and Xero skills Strong commercial and analytical thinking Excellent organisational and planning skills Outstanding attention to detail Confidence working across multiple integrated business systems About us At YY Nation, we're building more than footwear—we're building a global New Zealand brand with a mission to Protect Nature's Playground for Future Generations.
