Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Duck Island Ice Cream – Queenstown, South Island Calling all Front of House legends! We're on the hunt for part time and casual scooperstars who get our brand and are excited to join the Duck Island family, with the opportunity to increase hours as the season progresses. In return we can offer flexibility, progression opportunities, a supportive working environment, and of course – ice cream. We’re especially keen to hear from folks looking for an extra scoop of responsibility & wanting to jump into Shift Management with us. Shift Management involves: Opening the store and setting up for the day Managing end-of-shift processes, cashing up and closing up shop Completing various store tasks from whipping up sundaes to cleaning, customer service to stock management, etc. Managing our food safety and compliance systems throughout the shift Ensuring things are running smoothly and taking charge when they’re not Setting gold star customer service standards and leading from the front You are: An enthusiastic, energetic and friendly team player Down to deliver awesome customer service in a fast-paced environment Available to work late night and weekend shifts Dependable, flexible and keen to cover extra shifts when needed Experienced in hospitality and/or customer service We’re proud to be a workplace where people of all backgrounds, genders and identities feel welcome and supported.
