Service Manager

We're now looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Dunedin plumbing Service division . This is a key leadership opportunity for someone who understands the plumbing/service industry and has the commercial and people leadership skills to take a successful team to the next level. About the role As Dunedin Service Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day performance, growth and success of the Service business unit. You'll be responsible for: Leading, developing and supporting our service trades and office team. Managing the financial and operational performance of the Service business unit. Taking ownership of P&L performance and achieving budget targets. Identifying opportunities to grow the Service division and drive new business. Building and maintaining strong customer and client relationships. Maximising utilisation and productivity across the service team. Growing domestic and structured service opportunities. Overseeing quotes, pricing and customer engagement to maximise revenue and margin. Working closely with our Dunedin Contracting teams to achieve success across the wider branch. Leading recruitment, performance management, development and remuneration processes. Identifying risks and driving continuous improvement across the business. About you We're looking for a leader who can build a strong team, deliver commercially and understand what good service looks like . You'll ideally bring: Proven experience in a senior management, operational leadership or service management role. Strong commercial and financial understanding, including P&L and budget management. Demonstrated experience in business development and growing revenue. Proven people leadership skills and the ability to build a high-performing team. Strong customer and relationship management skills. Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills. A strong understanding of the plumbing and service industry. A Certifying Plumbing qualification is highly desirable , with Gasfitting and/or Drainlaying qualifications also advantageous. A full, clean driver's licence. Why Foleys?
