Office Administrator

We are seeking to appoint a new team member as Office Administrator to join the growing team at the Night ‘n Day Support Centre, located in Dunedin. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the primary function of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the office through supporting the Operational, Business Development and Finance teams, as well as our Franchisees and Suppliers. This role is full time for 37.5 hours per week What you'll be doing Professionally manage visitors and enquiries Manage incoming and outgoing mail processes Regulate and monitor all incoming and outgoing stock items held at the Support Centre and prepare associated invoices and packing slips Maintain a pleasant, professional and tidy office environment Sort, code, and match invoices with packing slips Assist with payroll administration Provide assistance to the wider Night ‘n Day team as required Assist with projects as they arise and provide support as required What we're looking for Essential skills Proven ability to work within a team, fostering trust and respect at all levels of the organisation Proven problem-solving techniques and ability to handle situations under pressure, while keeping all parties on side Strong attention to detail, documentation skills and ability to implement and monitor processes Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Proven ability to process large volumes of data quickly and accurately Ability to prioritise and multitask under pressure Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel, word, PDF Knowledge of Xero invoice processing Understanding of GST and coding transactions Ability to organise events and functions FMCG knowledge Basic accounting skills/knowledge About us Night ‘n Day Foodstores has been operating across the country for over 35 years.
