Are you a passionate hospitality leader who thrives on the energy, pace and excitement of major events? We are looking for an experienced Venue Catering Manager to lead our catering operations at Hnry Stadium, one of New Zealand's premier sporting and entertainment venues. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven, hospitality professional to lead the delivery of exceptional food and beverage experiences across major sporting events, concerts, corporate functions, premium hospitality and match-day operations. As the Venue Catering Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of catering operations across Hnry Stadium. You will lead from the front - bringing together people, food, service, logistics and commercial performance to ensure every event is delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard. Working closely with our culinary and operations teams, as well as clients, suppliers and key stakeholders, you will play a critical role in creating memorable experiences for thousands of guests. The Venue Catering Manager will be required to: Lead the end-to-end delivery of catering operations across public and corporate areas at Hnry Stadium. Plan and execute a range of event-day food and beverage operations. Lead, coach and develop a large and diverse hospitality team. Create a positive, inclusive and safety-focused workplace culture. Drive operational excellence, efficiency and continuous improvement. Manage budgets, labour, stock and operational costs to deliver strong commercial results. Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, service and guest experience. Maintain full compliance with food safety, health and safety and liquor licensing requirements. Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with clients, suppliers and internal and external stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and the overall guest experience. Key attributes include: At least 5 years experience in hospitality, catering, events or large-scale venue operations. Proven experience leading large, diverse teams. Strong commercial, financial and operational management capability. A genuine passion for customer experience and hospitality. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure event environment. A commitment to developing people and building high-performing teams. A strong understanding of food safety, health and safety and responsible alcohol service.
