Brownies Mattress Service (1990) Ltd – Queenstown, South Island Brownies Mattress Direct is a family-run business with superior customer service at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team in a full-time role. No previous sales experience is required , as full training will be provided. Previous retail or sales experience would be an advantage, but we are equally interested in finding someone with the right attitude and a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service. About the role As a valued member of our sales team, your responsibilities will include: Developing an in-depth knowledge of our products and services. Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs. Providing friendly, knowledgeable and professional service in our Queenstown store. Assisting customers in finding the right products for their needs. Following company procedures to ensure orders are processed accurately and products are delivered to customers on time. Working as part of a supportive and friendly team. About you We are looking for someone who is: Reliable, enthusiastic and well presented. Customer-focused, with a genuine passion for helping people. Friendly and confident when communicating with customers. A team player with a positive attitude. Motivated to learn and develop new skills. Ideally experienced in retail or customer service, although this is not essential. We are flexible around how 4–5 days per week are structured, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a full-time role with some flexibility. Our Queenstown outlet is open 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday , and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends and public holidays . Weekend and public holiday availability will therefore be required. While relevant experience — particularly previous retail or sales experience — would make your application stand out, the right attitude and a good fit within our existing team are just as important .
