About the Role Aramex Nelson is seeking an experienced and people-focused Regional Operations Manager to lead our operational performance across the region. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing depot operations, courier franchise relationships, team performance, service delivery, safety, compliance, and operational profitability. You'll lead from the front, driving operational excellence while building a positive, high-performing culture. Key Responsibilities Include Leading and developing depot teams, company drivers, customer service teams, and Courier Franchisees. Driving operational performance and achieving service and KPI targets. Managing daily depot operations to ensure efficient freight movement and service delivery. Building strong relationships with Courier Franchisees and supporting their ongoing success. Managing operational budgets, costs, and P&L exception reporting. Ensuring compliance with company policies, franchise agreements, and regulatory requirements. Acting as the regional Health & Safety lead and promoting a strong safety culture. Coaching, mentoring, and developing teams to achieve outstanding results. Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. To Be Successful in This Role Proven experience leading large and diverse operational teams. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence others. A results-driven approach with strong commercial acumen. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence. Experience in logistics, transport, courier, freight, or operational leadership environments will be highly regarded.
