Nursing within Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) offers a rewarding and challenging practice setting , ideal for clinicians who are adaptable, organised, and strong communicators. Based at the Northland Region Corrections Facility , you'll deliver comprehensive primary health care in a dynamic environment. Your work will include: Assessing and managing a wide range of health needs Physical and mental health care Alcohol and other drug (AOD) support Health education and promotion Acute care and emergency response No two days are the same, and you'll be supported to build and apply a broad clinical skillset We're looking for Casual Registered Nurses seeking work in the Kaikohe area who bring: Recent clinical experience in primary or secondary health care A broad range of post-graduate clinical exposure New graduates will be considered. Confidence assessing and responding to emergency situations A strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development A non-judgmental, inclusive approach to care Triage experience (desirable, but not essential) You must be a New Zealand resident to be eligible for this role The full salary range is $77,289 - $108,874 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
