Auckland CBD | Full time | Flexible working You notice possibilities other people miss. You are comfortable picking up the phone, asking a smart question and getting a conversation moving, but you also have the focus to follow the detail all the way through. If that sounds like you, this is an opportunity to build your career across property, planning, negotiation and infrastructure. The opportunity Acquisition+ is looking for a Site Acquisition Consultant to join its Auckland team. Working alongside experienced directors and consultants, you will help identify strategic infrastructure opportunities and support projects from initial investigation and property assessment through stakeholder engagement, approvals, negotiation and delivery. This is not a narrow, box-ticking role. You will learn how commercial, legal, planning and technical considerations fit together, while bringing the energy to chase information, make connections and keep work moving. As you build trust and capability, you will earn greater autonomy with the expectation that, in time, you will begin managing projects of your own. What you will be doing Researching locations, assessing properties and identifying potential infrastructure opportunities Engaging with landowners, developers, clients and specialist advisers Supporting property negotiations, approvals and project documentation Coordinating actions and stakeholders to keep projects progressing You can download a full position description via our careers site. About you Your background may be in commercial property, planning, law, telecommunications, infrastructure or project coordination. While relevant experience is important, the way you approach your work will be just as valuable. You'll bring: Relevant workplace and project exposure, ideally gained over at least one to two years The confidence to initiate conversations, follow up and speak up when something doesn't look right Commercial curiosity, strong organisation and the drive to see work through Clear communication skills and the ability to learn across different disciplines Telecommunications, utilities or commercial property experience would be advantageous but isn't essential. Why Acquisition+? Acquisition+ specialises in securing and managing property rights for infrastructure projects across New Zealand. You'll join a small, experienced and supportive team guided by three simple values: Speak up, Own it and Enjoy. That means raising issues early, taking responsibility for your decisions and contributing to a workplace where people do serious work without taking themselves too seriously. The business is entering a new phase of growth, with ambitions to expand beyond telecommunications into sectors including energy, renewables and transport. For the right person, this creates genuine scope to shape your career rather than step into a fixed lane. What's on offer A genuine pathway towards managing your own projects Close mentoring and exposure across property, planning, legal and technical disciplines Flexible working built around client, team and learning requirements Attractive remuneration, a mobile phone and opportunities for travel as your experience grows Regular time with the team will be important initially, helping you learn the work, develop your technical knowledge and build confidence with clients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
