About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and customer-focusedindividual to join our Industrial Aluminium team as a Customer Experience& Sales representative. Based at our Distribution Centre in East Tamaki (Highbrook), this roleoffers hands-on experience across the sales process, from managing customerenquiries and preparing quotes through to identifying opportunities andconverting sales. Working closely with our sales and operations teams, you'll play a keyrole in supporting customers and supporting day-to-day distribution activity.It's an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial and technicalknowledge while building a strong foundation for a future career inAccount Management or technical sales. Key responsibilities include: Building strong relationships with customers and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Preparing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring customer requirements are met accurately and efficiently. Identifying and maximising sales opportunities with both existing and prospective customers. Working closely with Account Managers to support the growth and development of customer accounts. Resolving customer enquiries and issues while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery. Assisting with inventory management, including stock monitoring and stocktakes. Providing general administrative support and assisting warehouse operations as required. Collaborating with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of customer orders. About You Our ideal candidate will have experience in a customer service, internalsales, or trade counter role within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering,or distribution environment. You will be eager to learn about our products, industry, and customers,with a genuine interest in developing your career in sales. This role offersan excellent opportunity to build your knowledge and capability, with a pathwayto progress into technical sales over time. To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in customer service, internal sales, trade counter, or similar customer-facing roles. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Well-developed administrative and organisational skills. Good numerical aptitude, including the ability to work with measurements and unit conversions. A practical, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to think creatively when solving problems. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while working closely with sales and operations teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. A willingness to learn, take initiative, and develop a long-term career in technical sales. Why Join Us?
