Sign Installer

We are looking for a practical, reliable person to join our production and installation team. Previous sign industry experience would be great, but it is not essential. There are not many experienced sign installers available locally, so we are open to people with hands‑on experience in building, electrical, engineering, fabrication, property maintenance or a similar practical trade. This role would suit someone who can confidently use tools, solve problems on site and hit the ground running with frame, panel and general signage installations. You do not need to be a fully qualified builder or electrician - we are looking for someone with solid practical skills who wants a long‑term role and is keen to learn the signage industry. Key responsibilities Installing signs, panels, frames and building-mounted signage Assisting with illuminated and electrical signage installations Working from ladders, scaffolds and elevated work platforms Fabricating aluminium and timber frames Assisting with the production and assembly of signs Learning vinyl graphics and sticker installation Carrying out site measurements and practical problem‑solving Working under the direction of our Production Manager About you Practical building, electrical, fabrication or installation experience Confidence using hand tools and power tools The ability to work accurately and produce a tidy finish A full New Zealand driver licence Good communication and a positive attitude Reliability and the ability to work well as part of a team A willingness to learn new skills and take pride in your work To be comfortable working at heights Varied work Ongoing training Opportunity to develop skills across signage installation, fabrication, vinyl application and production About us Speedy Signs Rotorua is a busy, varied workplace that values attitude, common sense and reliability just as highly as formal qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
