Gisborne Hospital - Part-time 56 Hours per fortnight (0.7FTE) Fixed Term until 01 February 2027. In this senior clinical leadership role, you will provide direct clinical coordination and expertise, ensuring a safe and effective practice environment while supporting the management of patient and workflow throughout the department. You will coordinate and lead a collaborative transdisciplinary team to enhance patient-centred care, provide leadership in complex clinical situations, support patient flow, and act as deputy to the Clinical Nurse Manager when required. About you Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APCNZQA Postgraduate Diploma (or equivalent) and working towards a Master's qualification. PDRP Proficient level and working towards Expert or Designated Senior Nurse level. A minimum of 3 to 5 years' recent clinical experience with leadership responsibilities, including shift leadership or coordination. Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary teams and health sectors. A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and staff development.
