Heights Recruitment – Queenstown, South Island This locally owned and well-established Wanaka joinery company has a strong pipeline of high-end residential work, specialising in custom kitchens and bespoke cabinetry. With projects ranging from workshop manufacturing through to on-site installations, they are looking to add an experienced Joiner to their growing team. We're seeking someone with 5+ years of hands-on joinery or cabinet making experience. A trade qualification or relevant joinery certification would be advantageous but is not essential for the right person. The Role: This position suits someone looking to take the next step in their joinery career within a busy and well-supported environment. You'll be joining a medium-sized team with strong backing from both the office and workshop, helping deliver a steady stream of quality residential projects. The role offers a mix of workshop manufacturing and on-site installation work, providing variety and the opportunity to further develop your skills. The team values a strong work ethic, quality workmanship, and a willingness to learn, while also investing in ongoing training and development where required. What We're Looking For: Minimum 5 years' experience in joinery, cabinetry, or woodworking. Proven workshop manufacturing and installation experience. Trade qualification or joinery certification (preferred). Confident using a wide range of power tools and workshop machinery. Comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment. Own basic hand tools, including drill and impact driver. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude.
