About the Role Working as part of a close‑knit crew, you will operate, monitor and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently and to a high‑quality standard. This is a permanent, full‑time position operating on a rotating 12‑hour shift roster covering both day and night shifts. You’ll be joining an experienced team that values reliability, communication and a strong work ethic. The current vacancy has arisen through an internal promotion, highlighting the genuine development and progression opportunities available within the business. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and production equipment Maintain production quality standards through regular checking and monitoring Complete product tracking and production documentation accurately Identify and report hazards while contributing to a strong safety culture Troubleshoot minor operational issues and elevate where required Communicate effectively with team members, maintenance personnel and internal stakeholders Maintain high housekeeping and workplace organisation standards Skills & Experience You will have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with machinery and equipment You will ideally have previous manufacturing, production, processing or industrial experience You will have experience working shifts or be able to demonstrate your suitability for rotating shift work You will hold a full New Zealand Driver Licence, as the site is not serviced by public transport You will demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety and following established procedures You will be a reliable team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work alongside a diverse range of people What’s in it for You?
