We’re looking for a Finance Operations Advisor to join our Auckland-based Finance Operations team on a 10-month fixed-term basis. In this role, you’ll provide critical onshore support to partners and staff, helping ensure key FinOps activities run smoothly. You’ll be part of a small, high-performing team working closely with offshore teams and internal stakeholders across the business. Your day to day will include: Providing prompt, high-quality financial operations support to partners and staff across PwC New Zealand, ensuring queries are handled professionally and efficiently. Managing day-to-day finance administration and transactional activities retained onshore, including more complex tasks that require strong attention to detail, accuracy, judgement, and follow-through. Working closely with offshore teams to monitor workload, review output, resolve queries and keep processes moving, while acting as an escalation point for issues that require onshore support. Providing clear, helpful advice and customer-focused support to internal teams, helping them navigate finance processes and resolve operational matters in a timely way. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contributing to a collaborative, service-focused team environment where accuracy, responsiveness and continuous improvement are valued. Strong administration experience, ideally within finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable or a similar operational finance environment preferably from within a professional services or corporate environment. A customer-focused approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to support a wide range of internal stakeholders. High attention to detail, strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Confidence using Microsoft Office, with experience in Oracle Fusion, and AI tools to work efficiently, streamline tasks and support high-quality outcomes.
