Geotechnical Engineer / Geologist

A well-regarded multidisciplinary consultancy are currently seeking an early career/Junior Geotechnical Engineer or Geologist to join their Christchurch team, working across a genuine mix of fieldwork and office-based technical delivery. This is a great next step for someone with a few years under their belt who wants to keep building their technical skillset while getting broader exposure to project delivery, client interaction, and site work. About the Role You'll get hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle, working alongside experienced engineers and geologists on residential, commercial and land development projects. Day to day, you'll be involved in: Assisting with geotechnical investigations, ground assessments and analysis Geological mapping, logging and field assessments Supporting site investigations and construction monitoring Helping prepare technical reports and design documentation Liaising with clients, contractors and project teams as part of a wider delivery team Building your technical foundation across a variety of project types and ground conditions You'll be supported by senior team members while being given the opportunity to develop your own technical judgement, client-facing skills, and project experience over time. About You To be considered for this role, you'll likely bring: A BE (Civil), Washington Accord or a BSc in Geology.
