We’re looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our Digital Services team, where you’ll lead the design, delivery, and ongoing support of our enterprise infrastructure and cloud environment. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our technology landscape through key port automation, datacentre, and cloud refresh projects. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in the future of our technology environment, with a strong focus on Datacentres, Microsoft Azure, enterprise networking, and Microsoft 365 . About the role Based in Tauranga, as a member of the team, you’ll take ownership of complex infrastructure and cloud solutions across the business. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure our systems are reliable, secure and fit for purpose. Key responsibilities Leading the design and delivery of Datacentre, infrastructure and cloud projects Providing expert-level support across Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune Designing and maintaining enterprise Datacentre network infrastructure Driving service excellence and continuous improvement across Digital Services Managing operational documentation, standards and disaster recovery plans Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues end-to-end Monitoring and maintaining the health of systems, cloud services and networks What you’ll bring A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in senior infrastructure or systems engineering roles Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments Proven expertise in enterprise networking and hybrid cloud environments Experience designing and implementing infrastructure solutions end-to-end Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment Experience mentoring others and sharing knowledge #J-18808-Ljbffr
