About the Role Be part of a supportive and collaborative team and make a meaningful contribution to healthcare services We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Receptionist / Administration Officer to join our Community Nursing team based at Wakari Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. As the first point of contact for many patients, visitors, and staff, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Community Nursing services. You'll provide professional reception and administrative support while ensuring information is managed accurately, confidentially, and efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Providing high-quality reception and customer service support Managing telephone and email enquiries Coordinating appointments and maintaining administrative records Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems Supporting service administration and office processes Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and administrative projects Working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure smooth service delivery About the Team/Service/Location Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Southern provides services to more than 350,000 people across the largest geographical region in New Zealand.
