We're seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with steel structure experience to support the delivery of a significant project in Porirua. Offering a flexible commitment of approximately half a day per week initially, possibly increasing as the project progresses, this role is ideal for an experienced professional wanting quality project involvement and excellent hourly rates. About the company Our client is delivering a substantial construction project involving complex steel structures. With construction commencing in September, they require an experienced professional to provide construction monitoring and quality oversight throughout the build. About the role You'll be the eyes and ears on site, undertaking construction monitoring activities, reviewing workmanship, and ensuring works are being completed in line with project requirements and expected quality standards. This role offers genuine flexibility and would suit a senior engineer who works as a contractor.
