Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a Weekend Supervisor & Mechanical Breakdown 2IC to join their operation based in Ngaruawahia. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual looking to combine hands‑on plant maintenance responsibilities with team leadership and production supervision. About the Role Lead and support a team of 7 production operators to achieve daily production, quality, and safety targets. Act as the first point of response to plant breakdowns, carrying out basic troubleshooting and coordinating escalation where required. Assist with preventative maintenance activities and preparation for planned maintenance shutdowns. Coach, train, and support team members while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, operational processes, and production reporting requirements. About You Experience working as a Fitter or within a plant maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Basic mechanical fault‑finding and troubleshooting experience. A hands‑on approach and willingness to get involved across multiple areas of the operation. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
