Alchemy Consulting – Auckland, North Island An opportunity for a Maintenance Planner is available with a large manufacturing business in Auckland. Their brands are truly global, with products produced and marketed worldwide. This role is critical to the site driving maintenance plans and budgets.And will be responsible for the creation of work plans, coordination of engineering planning/scheduling, the implementation, and monitoring of preventive maintenance programs and for arranging and overseeing corrective maintenance as and when necessary. The position report to the Engineering Manager. This is a Monday – Friday Day Shift role. Start times are 7.30 / 8 a.m. 45 hours per week. Availability to work some hours on Saturday is needed. Time in lieu a day off is due for weekend work. Weekend work is paid hourly. To apply you will need: A tertiary Engineering qualification (Electrical / Mechanical) 3 – 4 years’ experience or more as a Maintenance Planner within the engineering department of a manufacturing company. (Additional experience advantageous.) Some experience on the tools as a Maintenance Engineer. Experience with engineering stores, spare parts / inventory management. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders across production, engineering, and various management teams. Excellent analytical ability to be able to interpret maintenance data, prepare reports, and support preventive maintenance programs. Knowledge and experience using a Maintenance Software – MEXX is advantageous.
