Body in Motion is expanding our team and looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. We offer a flexible role tailored to your skills and career preferences: Occupational Therapist (Part-Time – 0.6 FTE): Focus on community-based care delivering Concussion Services and Stay at Work (SAW) programs. Physiotherapist (Full-Time or Part-Time): Passionate about variety? Take on a Full-Time hybrid role combining 0.6 FTE Community (Concussion & SAW) with MSK clinic practice —or opt for a part-time community focus. Key Responsibilities Community Role (OT or Physio | 0.6 FTE) Concussion Services: Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored interdisciplinary rehabilitation for patients recovering from mild to moderate traumatic brain injury. Stay at Work (SAW) Programs: Support clients with vocational rehabilitation, workplace assessments, and sustainable return-to-work plans. Community Engagement: Work autonomously across the Taranaki region, building strong rapport with clients, employers, ACC, and health professionals. MSK Role (Physiotherapist – Additional FTE for Full-Time) Clinical Excellence: Deliver evidence-based, hands-on manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation programs for a diverse private, ACC, and corporate caseload. Active Rehabilitation: Empower patients through individualised care plans aimed at meaningful recovery. Qualifications & Requirements Qualification: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or NZ-recognized equivalent). Registration: Current NZ Registration (OTBNZ or NZPB) with an active Annual Practising Certificate (APC). Experience: Experience in concussion management, vocational rehab, or MSK physiotherapy is highly regarded (training/mentorship available for the right candidate). Licensing: Valid NZ driver’s licence and current First Aid Certificate.
