We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Hand to keep our kitchen running smoothly! As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running efficiently. You will ensure all kitchen areas are clean and organized, provide food and beverage outlets with sanitized equipment, and follow proper food-handling techniques in line with current health and hygiene regulations. Your support helps our chefs deliver outstanding dishes every time! Key responsibilities include: Actions cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas and scullery. Ensure that kitchens and equipment are kept clean and tidy according to current Health and Hygiene regulations. Ensure all operating equipment, crockery, cutlery & glassware is hygienically cleaned and safely stored. Ensure the correct handling of chemicals and equipment as per manufacturer's instructions. Ensure waste is removed from kitchens on a regular basis and that it is recycled appropriately. Assist in the preparation of food as directed by the Executive Chef or supervisory team. Actively support and participate in safe work practices following health and safety, and environment policies and procedures in the workplace. Qualifications About You A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Great teamwork and communication skills to support the kitchen brigade. Attention to detail, ensuring all kitchen areas and equipment are spotless. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices will be advantageous. Good time management and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Ability to work 5 days per week on a rotating 7 day roster, including after hours, weekends and public holidays.
