Alpine Luxury Tours – Christchurch, South Island Alpine Luxury Tours is a leading provider of private and small-group tours in Christchurch & Queenstown. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, we pride ourselves on showcasing the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of this stunning part of New Zealand. Using our fleet of European vehicles including SUV's and Mercedes Sprinters, our services covertransfers, day tours, wine tours, hikes, private helicopter guiding and more. As a Driver/Guide, you will be responsible for safely guiding and transporting guests to various destinations within the Christchurch region and South Island, all while providing engaging and informative commentary. Key Responsibilities: Safely drive passengers to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols. Provide informative and engaging commentary on local history, landmarks, and points of interest. Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular maintenance checks are performed. Respond to passenger inquiries last minute and provide excellent customer service. Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the journey. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and customer service. Responsible for delivering a high standard of service. Will be ultimately responsible for making decisions when it comes to the safety of Clients. Qualifications: Valid New Zealand driver’s license with a clean driving record. Hold a current P endorsement. Be willing to work weekends and over the Christmas period. Proven in driver/guiding highend clientele. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and entertain passengers. Strong knowledge of the local area, including historical and cultural information. Ability to handle unexpected situations and provide excellent customer service. Be physically fit. Friendly, professional with a passion for customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with multiple languages (optional but preferred). Current First Aid certification (Can be obtained) Hold a current P endorsement. Have a clean driving record. What We Offer: Middle of October 2026 start date. Casual and Full time postions available Excellent hourly rate $35 - $38 per hour. A dynamic and supportive work environment.
