Lead Mens Sculling Coach - Rowing New Zealand Rowing New Zealand is seeking a Lead Coach - Mens Sculling, in our national high performance program. The successful candidate will be working closely with our team of other national lead coaches and athlete performance support experts, based from the Colgan High Performance Centre at Lake Karapiro, New Zealand. Rowing NZ has a proud legacy of building rowers to podium level performances across successive World Championships and Olympic Games and we aim to be a World leading rowing nation - on and off the water. This role is an opportunity to play a key part in our future success and we are looking for a World class rowing coach and team player to add expertise to our high performance program and the development of high performance rowing, in particular through leading our men's sculling program through to LA2028 and onto the Brisbane2032 Olympic Games. The role is one of a team of four coaches working at the highest level of coaching in New Zealand, having a primary role assisting the men's sculling program and athletes selected for our elite squad and World Rowing Teams. You'll be expected to travel with and support squad members at national and international competition. The role will also work with other national coaches across the wider elite mens and womens sculling and sweeping athletes in our squad as well as working with our pathway leads and coaches in our development pathway and their work with our U19 and U23 World Rowing Teams and development squads. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, as well as the necessary requirements to work in New Zealand and be able to travel and work unrestricted across the World.
