Chemical Production Process Workers Wanted – Rolleston About the Role Recruitment Now is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Process Workers to join a busy chemical production environment. Long-term employment, competitive pay with an additional $2 per hour chemical production allowance on offer and full training and specialised PPEs are provided. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is physically fit, safety-focused and comfortable working in a production environment involving chemical products. Location & Hours: Rolleston, Canterbury: Monday to Friday | Morning: 6:00am–2:30pm | Afternoon: 2:00pm–10:30pm | Morning and afternoon shifts available. During the first few weeks, you may be required to work up to 12-hour shifts to meet production requirements. Overtime and weekend work may also be available, so applicants must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours when required. Key Responsibilities Stacking, packing and labelling Chemical production and processing Regular lifting and manual handling from 15kgs to 25kgs Inward and outward goods Quality checks Completing production records and documentation Forklift operation where required (option to be trained and gain forklift license) Following production procedures and health and safety requirements Maintaining a clean and safe work environment About You Be physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling Have a good level of English communication Have basic computer literacy Demonstrate strong health and safety awareness Be able to follow procedures and maintain accurate documentation Have good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach Be reliable, punctual and committed to long-term work Work well as part of a small, close-knit team Be comfortable working with chemical products Have forklift experience or a current licence (preferred but not essential) What We Offer Above-market wages Potential temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person Full training provided All required PPE provided Supportive team environment Opportunity to gain valuable experience in chemical production and processing Why Recruitment Now?
