Description About the Company Property Funding Limited operates a mortgage lending business alongside a PIE fund structure, providing property-secured lending and investment solutions to New Zealand borrowers and investors. It’s a business where finance sits close to the action, with direct visibility of every transaction moving through the lending and investment cycle. The Role Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage the end-to-end transaction cycle across the group’s lending entity and PIE fund structures, spanning loan advances, repayments, investor activity and interest processing. The role also carries AML/CFT compliance responsibilities through borrower and investor file review, alongside monthly and quarterly reporting, forecasting and budgeting support. Key Responsibilities Process loan advances, repayments across Mortgage Office, Xero, MYOB and BNZ Reconcile investor funds, interest payments and bank accounts weekly Review borrower and investor AML files and complete risk ratings Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for the PIE entities Maintain forecasting and budgeting using Fathom and Excel modelling Manage accounts payable across the lending entity and PIE structures Support senior staff and the GM with board reporting Generate and load loan documentation and application fees into Mortgage Office About You Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or business, or equivalent practical experience Experience in a finance, accounts or transaction-processing role; exposure to financial services, lending or funds management an advantage Working knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB highly regarded Understanding of, or willingness to learn, AML/CFT obligations and customer due diligence Strong Excel modelling skills; Fathom experience a plus High attention to detail when handling investor and borrower funds Proactive and methodical, with sound judgement escalating discrepancies Comfortable managing multiple systems and competing deadlines What’s In It For You This role offers genuine variety, no single day looks like the last, across transaction processing, compliance and reporting.
