Part Time Vet

A position has become available at a privately-owned companion animal clinic just west of Christchurch. This is a three-vet practice. Vets are supported by six experienced vet nurses. This rural practice has a laidback atmosphere but can also be very busy. The team sees a wide range of cases, from the easy to the more complex. The clinic is fully equipped with a full IDEXX suite, x-rays and ultrasound, IM3 dental and microscope with a screen to discuss cases with owners. This is a permanent part-time position offering 30 hours per week. The clinic hours are 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 12 noon on Saturdays. They are closed Sundays, and the after-hours work is referred to the local emergency centre. The employer is offering a competitive salary along with a yearly bonus, depending on your performance.
