Parata Limited is looking for a proven General Manager to lead our business and take it to the next level. We, are an established, growing operation delivering large-scale works in civil roading and construction, with a strong forward workload and a solid financial base. We are now at the stage where we need an experienced leader to drive performance, improve efficiency, and help grow the business in a controlled, profitable way. This is not a desk-only role. We are looking for someone practical, commercially sharp, and comfortable being both in the office and on site. About the Role You will be responsible for the overall performance of the business, with a strong focus on: Delivering projects on time and on budget Maintaining and lifting quality standards Improving efficiency across labour, plant, and subcontractors Leading estimating and supporting pricing strategy Building a strong, accountable team culture Strengthening systems, structure, and communication You will work closely with ownership and have real authority to make decisions and drive change. What We’re Looking For We are not looking for a corporate manager. We are looking for someone who has actually delivered work and understands how jobs run on the ground. The right person will have: A background in civil roading, maintenance and construction Proven experience in a senior leadership or operations role Strong background in project delivery and estimating A track record of improving margins and performance Ability to win work and build client relationships Practical, hands‑on industry experience Strong financial understanding (cost control, margins, cashflow) Clear and confident communication skills The ability to lead people and build a high‑performing team What Success Looks Like Improved project margins Strong pipeline of profitable work Clear systems and accountability across the business A team that performs and takes ownership The Opportunity This is a key leadership role with the ability to make a real impact on an already successful business.
