Job Description He angituutanga: The opportunity Are you passionate about water safety and love working with children and schools? Join our team and help shape confident, capable swimmers who understand how to stay safe in and around water. As a Water Safety Instructor, you’ll deliver our dynamic water safety programme, which blends open water and water safety skills competencies. You’ll inspire students and schoolteachers alike through engaging, discovery-based learning and problem-solving activities. Plan and conduct engaging and effective swimming lessons for various age groups and skill levels Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety practices Monitor and provide constructive feedback to students to improve their skills Ensure a safe and positive learning environment in the pool area Maintain accurate records of student attendance Promote water safety awareness and educate students on drowning prevention The schedule for this role ranges from 4.5 to 22.5 hours per week. Applicants must be available to work Monday to Friday between 9:15am and 2:15pm.
