About the Role We are looking for a motivated, reliable full-time Housekeeper to join our core team, servicing luxury holiday homes across Tekapo and Twizel . This is a long-term permanent role with clear growth paths, perfect for candidates seeking stable work and career development in the property management industry. Job Description & Key Responsibilities Perform full end-of-stay cleaning and pre-stay preparation for all holiday homes across Tekapo and Twizel, including thorough cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and outdoor patio areas Complete daily cleaning tasks systematically, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising wet areas, window sill cleaning, rubbish sorting and removal, ensuring all properties meet high-end Airbnb holiday home hospitality standards Replace fresh linen, make beds neatly, and restock standard guest amenities including basic cooking supplies (oil, salt, pepper) and bathroom essentials Conduct detailed property inspections before and after guest stays, accurately check furniture, appliances, fixtures and fittings, record dirt, damage, missing items and general wear and tear via official checklists Identify and report any property faults, equipment malfunctions, breakages or safety hazards to the management team in a timely manner Travel between Tekapo and Twizel work sites safely with a company van, manage daily work routes and complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently within schedule Maintain good organisation of cleaning tools, equipment and supplies, keep work gear clean and well-maintained, and replenish stock as needed Cooperate closely with the team and management, follow company workflows, safety rules and service standards, and complete ad-hoc property arrangement tasks Respond politely to simple guest enquiries on-site when required, maintaining a professional and friendly service attitude What We Offer Competitive NZ compliant pay : $25/hr + 8% holiday pay Full structured training : No rich experience required.
